Buildship Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Buildship plugins for Eclipse IDE, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility.
• Collaborate closely with designers and developers to integrate UI/UX designs effectively into the final product.
• Conduct rigorous testing of Buildship plugins to uphold quality standards for functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Iterate on designs and code based on feedback and testing results.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Java development and build automation.
• Participate actively in Agile development activities including code reviews and sprint planning.
• Provide technical support and assistance to team members as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Java development with experience in developing Eclipse plugins preferred.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and React.js is considered a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with build automation tools such as Gradle or Maven.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German or French is a plus.
• Prior experience with Agile development methodologies is desirable.
